PRODUCER MEETINGS

Education and
communication are vital to the success of any industry. We offer several opportunities each year for members and nonmembers alike to come together to learn and discuss the things that are important to their operations, including topics such as nutrition, lambing, predators, and
wool quality. Our annual membership meeting is held each summer. Association business is conducted during this meeting, such as the election of officers and directors. In November, the WWGA partners with its
counterparts in Idaho, Utah and Nevada to hold the Western State Wool Growers Convention, which features speakers from all over the
country and is a great opportunity for producers
to visit with producers from across the region. The WWGA also hosts small local gatherings throughout the year and supports our Emerging Entrepreneurs efforts to present educational
opportunities to producers.
