Ram Sire Test

Each year the Wyoming Wool Growers Association conducts both a Black Face Ram Sire Test
and a White Face Ram Sire Test. The WWGA partners with the Mountain States Lamb Cooperative to
conduct the Black Face Ram Sire Test. Both Ram Sire Tests are conducted in cooperation with,
and through the University of Wyoming.

The Black Face Ram Sire Test is held each year beginning in June and ending in August. The test runs for 75 days. The White Face Ram Sire Test begins in late September and runs thru mid March of the following year.
The test runs for 140 days.
